Enhancing forage plant mycorrhization to improve the supply chain quality of Piedmontese cattle breed
Home	AM-FOR-Quality develops over 48 months Line 1: AM-FOR-Quality in the lab In pot mycorrhization of Medicago truncatula (a model legume closely related to alfalfa, M. sativa), using MICOSAT inoculum with or without COs; control of mycorrhizal intensity; study of cellular, molecular responses and systemic responses. Line 2: AM-FOR-Quality in the field Preparation of experimental meadows as non-inoculated, inoculated with MICOSAT, or with CO-enriched MICOSAT. The floristic composition of the plant community, biomass produced, greening, plant symbiotic status and their content in phosphates, antioxidants and phenolic compounds will be analyzed. Total leaf coverage and springtime greening will be analyzed through aerial photogrammetry with the use of a drone and subsequent image analysis.
